The relationship isn’t confirmed yet but if it is, it’s refreshing to see an athlete choose something other than the stripper/video vixen route. Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is rumored to be dating Monica Wright of the Minnesota Linx. The two met in 2006 during the McDonalds All-American high school game and have been pretty close ever since. Read more after the jump.

When asked about her “friendship with KD recently, Monica said it’s mostly about basketball:
“A lot of it has to do with basketball, that’s how we’ve known each other. But he’s helped me, coached me. He’s actually a type of player I want to be like.”
