After securing homecourt and going up 2-0 in the series, the San Antonio Spurs are now in Memphis to face the Grizzlies on their turf. French point guard Tony Parker went to a French-Creole spot, Restaurant Iris where he was reportedly denied service. Read more after the jump.
What was first reported as a rumor was later confirmed on Twitter by the head chef/owner of Restaurant Iris, Kelly English. Restaurant Iris later joined in on Twitter hash tagging the Grizzlies playoff catchphrase “We Don’t Bluff.”
I guess English caught some flack for denying Parker a table and he later informed everyone that it had nothing to do with the playoff series and gave an explanation as to why it happened.
