This drama sounds like it’s right out of a script for a “Dallas” episode! Larry Hagman, who played J.R. in “Dallas” right up to his death, passed away a few months ago and now his estate claims his granddaughter stole from him. Noel Hagman currently has possession of some jewels that Larry inherited after his mother’s death. The reps for the legendary actor’s estate are unsure how the granddaughter even got her hands on the jewelry, but she is refusing to give them back! More details below.
Larry Hagman’s estate lawyer is now saying that Noel would have to pay twice as much as the jewels are worth to keep them in her possession. The Raj necklace and matching earring set has diamonds and emeralds and originally belonged to Hagman’s mother, actress Mary Martin. Thus far, the jewels don’t have a price tag but I’m sure it’s a pretty big one!
