I didn’t even know they were attempting to have a “Power Rangers” reunion until I heard about people declining the offer to be part of it. The producers intended on having about 20 of the rangers throughout the years have cameos during the 20th anniversary reunion special but three of the”Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” have already declined to be part of the project. The blue ranger, David Yost, was the first to say no to the gig since he was harassed for being gay. The black ranger, Walter Jones, was second the decline the offer in support of Yost. Certain Rangers were not even invited for “budget” reasons which probably includes pink ranger, Amy Jo Johnson, and Jason David Frank, the green.white ranger, since they seem to be the only who that are still working. Perhaps they will just do a reunion without the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and just have the ones that came after? The second yellow “Mighty Morphin” ranger, Karan Ashley-who was only invited because Thuy Trang passed away, has been the first one to speak out against producers. Find out what she had to say below.
Karan Ashley, who replaced Trang following her death, went in on the producers for about 45 minutes, but we only have a short clip:
