Heavy D’s brother, Floyd Myers, is making an attempt to claim the rest of his late brother’s estate. Myers claims that Heav wrote a will back in ’99 that would grant everything to his brother. The will has since been lost, but Myers claims that his brother gave him a copy. Currently what is left of Heav’s estate is in possession of his daughter, parents, and other siblings. Myers is attempting to head to court to get what he says is rightfully his. Read more below.
Myers was Heavy D’s manager and filed the proper document in the L.A. County Superior Court last week to gain control of the rest of his brother’s assets. Myers claims that Heav wrote the will before the birth of his 13-year-old daughter but has failed to mention why he would get everything in the event of Heav’s death and not have it split with other family members. Heavy only has $320,000 in listed assets but that number could increase.
