The Pentagon has announced that employees of the Defense Department can now use Apple iOS products like iPhones and iPads. The company now joins Samsung and Blackberry as the manufactures that are capable of adhering to the high security measures the Pentagon has in place. Apple products will be more cost effective for The Us Department of Defense. The Pentagon expects to save more than $50 million by putting the flight manuals on iPads instead of having to reproduce new ones with updated information.
