Firefighters are attempting to fight off the fire by both air and land and were able to stop the fire from spreading to Northlake Hills Elementary School which is in the area. The fire broke out on Wednesday near Frazier Park and quickly claimed more than 4,000 acres of land. Fire officials say that although it is not longer a threat to homes or businesses, it will be a long process to put out the fire.
