The Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat series has been chippy and physical. It’s clear that these two teams don’t like each other and they’re fighting hard to make it to the next round of the playoffs. Game two included 51 personal fouls, nine technical fouls, one flagrant foul and two ejections via @ESPN_Numbers. Game three had the same tone with 50 personal fouls, three technicals and one ejection resulting from this altercation between Lebron James and Nazr Mohammed. Read more after the jump.
Early in the second quarter with the Bulls up by three, Lebron brought the ball across halfcourt and he and Nazr got tangled up. Lebron pushed Mohammed to the floor resulting in a technical foul being called, Mohammed then jumped up and shoved Lebron to the ground causing him to fly across the court (I exaggerate a little lol). Mohammed’s shove led to him getting ejected from the game after the well sold fall by James. Now some say Lebron was flopping but the shove kinda caught him off guard and Mohammed isn’t a small guy at 6’10 and 250 pounds. Then again we all know Lebron is no shrimp himself at 6’8, 250 pounds and hard fouls usually don’t even make him budge unless he’s trying to sell it. I don’t know, what do you think?
