Buzzfeed conducted a study in which they monitored the site Vinepeek for 20 minutes. The observed 152 Vines, 103 of the videos were teens, 24 were non-teens and 25 of those videos they could not determine the age range.They came to the conclusion that 80% of the videos they watched were made by Teens. The 20 minute observation happened on a Wednesday at 4:30pm est when teens on the east and central times zones would be out of school. Even thought this was a small sample it does fit an pretty good description on who posts vines. I observed the site for myself and found Vine, after Vine of Teens who were actually in school at the time using Vine in the classroom.
