There is always a first for everything, right? If the city of Miami gets it’s way and is awarded the Super Bowl in 2016, which would be Super Bowl 50, the game might be removed from a stadium all together. How would you like to see your favorite team going for the Lombardi trophy while playing on a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier?? The idea itself is very interesting to say the least. According to NBC Miami:
The plans include playing a football game on a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier near downtown Miami. And there would also be a “Super Bowl Park” in downtown Miami that would keep all Super Bowl-related activities in one area. The ship would be docked right next to the AA arena, where the Miami Heat play. Give credit to the Miami Super Bowl committee for thinking of this idea. They knew it would draw alot of attention and it seems to already be working. The city that will host the big game that year will be announced later this year. If Miami wins, things will get very interesting.
