Gotta love this! Spike Lee and Reggie Miller go way back and this is just a tiny piece of revenge for Spike. If you don’t know the history, there’s a quick lesson after the jump along with the video. #Knicks #GoNYGoNYGo

Spike Lee walked to his courtside seat on Tuesday night, smiling as he was greeted by fans, security guards and Madison Square Garden employees. He wore an orange fedora hat, a neon orange Knicks jacket and blue and orange dress shoes.
Photographers and cameramen soon surrounded Lee, hoping he would see Reggie Miller, who was in the Garden to call the game for TNT.
Miller knew the significance of the day: 18 years ago he stunned Lee and the rest of the Garden by scoring 8 points in the final 18.7 seconds to win Game 1 of Knicks-Pacers playoff series in 1995.
Before taking his seat in the booth just a couple of feet away, Miller walked over to Lee. They hugged and shared a few laughs.
Lee said he and Miller did not talk about that unforgettable playoff game. They also did not make any friendly wagers on this year’s series, as they had in 1994.
“We were just saying hello,” Lee said. “I didn’t even know it was the 18th anniversary of that game until I got here.”
He paused for a few seconds before saying, “I try to forget that.”
