E!’s Twitter account was hacked over the weekend, false tweets were sent out about Justin Bieber. Around 1 pm, “Exclusive: Justin Bieber to E!online: I’m a gay,” was tweeted from the account, causing a frenzy. Later, “Angelina Jolie admits, in E! latest issue, that Jordan is to blame for the Syrian refugees’ atrocious conditions,” was tweeted from the account. The Syrian hacker group has claimed responsibility for the tweets, which are the same group responsible for the fake tweets about White House bomb threats. E!’s Twitter was suspended right after. Now the account is up and running but has to gain back all of its followers. Check out the gallery for the tweets.
