Apparently right-wing websites in Italy had a lot to say about Cecile Kyenge being the the first black Italian Cabinet member. They went as far as to call her a “congolese monkey,” “the black anti-Italian,” and other horrific racial slurs. Then Mario Borghezio, Northern League European Parlimentarian, stirred up some controversy on a radio program, saying that Kyenge “wants to impose tribal traditions” in Italy. Really though? He also went as far as saying that African’s “do not produce great genes.” May we all take a moment to pray for these ignorant people. SMH!
