Yesterday, fire swept across 8,000 acres of Ventura County, causing a major threat to 2,000 homes and forcing hundreds of people to evacuate the area.Wildfires are already tough to handle and sometimes put out,but
additional stress was placed on firefighters, as strong winds prevented firefighting planes from assisting. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported yet in the County.
