With the huge Floyd Mayweather fight happening this Saturday in Las Vegas, the name Manny Pacquiao has been on the back burner, especially since the way he lost his last fight. But anytime you hear the name Mayweather it is just a normal reaction at this point to think of Manny. Who knows if the 2 giants of the sport at the moment will ever fight, but in the mean time they are both taking care of their own business. Pacquiao has agreed to fight November 23rd in China, and his opponent has been narrowed down to 2 boxers. See more about it after the jump.

According to Pac-Man adviser Michael Koncz, speaking to BoxingScene.com, the former champion will get back in the ring on November 24 (November 23 in the United States) in Macau, China, against either Brandon Rios or Mike Alvarado. They have not said who is the front runner yet because they do not want to give anyone leverage in negotiations just yet. Both Rios & Alvarado are solid fighters, and with the way Manny lost his last fight anything is possible, but Pac-man would be the favorite against either of those guys. If both Mayweather and Pacquiao win their next fights, it could possibly finally lead to the ultimate showdown fans have been craving for years. But that is a big IF.
