About a year and a half ago, concert promoter, Patrick Allocco filed a lawsuit for $10miL against, Queens rapper, Nas. Allocco, alleges that he and his son were kidnapped, because Nas never showed up to a show that was arranged in Angola for a series of New Year’s eve events. Nas’ attorney is saying that this lawsuit is totally bogus and it needs to go in the circular files. Drop down bottom for the details.
Jonathan Davis, Nas’ attorney has entered in a request to have the suit thrown out, because it wasn’t the rappers fault that he didn’t show up. The promoter didn’t pay him all of his money, and he didn’t handle traveling arrangements properly.
When Nas didn’t show, Allocco and his son were detained by Angolan authorities, – for 49 days – who allegedly be him and his son. The promoter is also saying that he had to endure massive financial losses, and his son has suffered post-traumatic syndrome.
Question: Why in the hell would Angolan authorities beat this man, because NAS didn’t show up? Don’t sound right.
Another Question: Nas had paid the promoter his $300,000 back – the money he was given initially – why in the hell is he asking for $10miL? Stretch much?
Things just don’t sound right in this story.
