For the past month, Facebook has been testing a service that charges users a fee to message celebrities on Facebook. It started off in the UK and about 36 other countries in which the social network charged $5 to $15 depending how famous the celebrity is. Also, Facebook’s definition of Celebrity includes people who have a lot of friends on the network as well parody accounts. Celebrities have no way of controlling the prices and aren’t getting a cut of the fees being made off of them. Do you think Facebook should continue this service??
