A Bathing Ape turns 20 this year. But it hasn’t been a smooth 20 years. The line’s been through it’s share of difficulties and road bumps but it never fails to have everyone going crazy and looking fly! I remember when ‘Bape’ was at it’s peak, well at least for my generation. Everyone who could afford it, had it, the sneakers, t-shirts, you name it. And if you couldn’t afford it, you found a way to get it, terrible but yes this included knock-off’s. On April Fool’s Day, Bape announced that it would undergo this HUGE T-shirt series, with designs from 20 of the most important names in streetwear history—including Pharrell Williams, Kanye West and Nigo, among others.
