We all knew it was coming, we just didn’t know when. Once Ravens QB Joe Flacco got a mega deal after winning the Super Bowl, everyone knew Aaron Rodgers extension would most likely be a record breaking contract. Details have not been released as of yet, but according to ESPN, Rodgers is expected to be the highest paid player in the league. That means his contract will be worth more than $20 million per season! What he brings to the field is definitely worth paying him a crazy amount of money. All he does is win and perform. He has one of the best records in the league over the past five years. Reports say the contract adds another 5 years on top of the 2 years he had left on his current deal.
