Documentary filmmaker, Asif Kapadia has decided to get together with Universal Music to create and showcase a film of, Amy Winehouse’s life, career, hardships, and successes.

This, in-the-works documentary as of right now, is untitled. “This is an incredibly modern, emotional and relevant film,” said filmmaker, Kapadia. Tragically, Amy seemed to fall apart under the relentless media attention, her troubled relationships, her global success and precarious lifestyle. As a society we celebrated her huge success, but then we were quick to judge her failings when it suited us,” he added. True, but isn’t it like that with human beings period?
