This story is crazy!! This could of turned out much worse for the woman involved. Smugglers are becoming more and more creative in the way they go about trying to get drugs into our country. So much so, that they are trying to use people who have no clue they are even carrying drugs. Read more after the jump.

A 33 year old woman who lives in Mexico, but commutes to work everyday in San Diego became a target for a cartel. They realized the commute the woman had and decided they could take advantage of it. If two members of the cartel on the U.S. side didn’t mess up, they may of very well gotten away with it. Before the woman left for work, they used some heavy duty duct tape to stash 30 pounds of weed in the undercarriage of her car. So as she drove over the border, she literally had no clue all that weed was under her car. She makes it all the way to work, but 2 members of the cartel were too early. They approached the car thinking she had already gotten out, but in fact she was still in the drivers seat on the phone. They ran off after noticing she was still there and she became suspicious and called the police. After a few minutes police located what was under the car. The woman was not arrested or charged with possession because it became obvious to officers she had no clue. But just think about what would of happened to her if she was searched at the border or pulled over while driving. Police would of never beleived that story. Lucky for her it turned out the way it did.
