The big NFL news yesterday was that the best cornerback in the league, Darrelle Revis, signed with the Tampa Bay Bucs. Sometimes breaking up is hard to do. It can go smooth or there can be hurt feelings. Apparently his camp had to throw in one last shot aimed at the Jets on Revis’ way out. It’s fitting that the rocky relationship between the Jets and cornerback Darrelle Revis would end with the player’s camp throwing one final stone at the franchise.
“The organization is not committed to winning,” a source close to Revis told Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News in the aftermath of the trade that sends Revis to Tampa Bay.
