Apple has confirmed that it keeps the information Siri, voice assistant on iPhones, gives to users. The company says it retains the information to help the company render better and more accurate results.Apple keeps the data for 2 years which maybe a privacy issue.
According to sources Apple said that is uses randomly generated numbers to associate with voice files and keeps those files for 6 months and deletes it. But Apple’s servers keep the information for up to 18 months.When a user turns Siri completely off, however, all data and identifiers are immediately deleted.
