Nintendo Wii U has some pretty cool games but some developers of bigger titles have decided to got with other consoles like Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox. Nintendo might start offering free Wii U Dev kits to developers to help encourage these developers to make more games for the console. Jonathan Holmes of Destructoid tweeted a few days ago, “Hearing more and more stories of Nintendo giving developers free Wii U dev kits. I hope devs take advantage of that. Could lead to victories.” As of right now, the Wii U dev kit cost $5,000 which is a lot for a developer to pay when they have a choice to focus on bigger console platforms.
