According to sources, Former News Corp. president, Peter Chernin, wants to purchase HULU. The company News Corp. and Disney own HULU. Disney and News Corp. have been shopping around for a buyer, its reported he placed a bid for $500 million. Chernin left Hulu back in 2009 to start his own company, The Chernin Group which deals in film and TV production and owns stakes in high-tech companies, like Pandora Media Inc..
