Though Brian Scalabrine didn’t put up monster numbers he was a fan favorite. Playfully called the ‘White Mamba’ Scalabrine rode the bench and mostly played garbage time minutes. His NBA career stats of 3.1 points and 2 rebounds, averaging 13 minutes per game has people thinking they can take him on, on the court. Read more after the jump.

It should be noted that Scalabrine led in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage while at USC. He was the 1999 Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year and named to the All-Pac-10 first team and the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 15 first team in his second season. While his NBA stats aren’t star potential, just remember how great of a player you have to be to even make it into the league.
