Apple started this year on top of all smartphone manufacturers and still has had a steady increase. Samsung is quickly gaining on Apple’s numbers but can Apple hold on to its OEM lead. More and more people are starting to use Android phones more so and actually Android OS comes in first place so far this year as Apple is second with iOS.
ComScore, surveyed over 30,000 mobile subscribers in the US. The analytics firm says 133.7 million Americans owned smartphones (57 percent mobile market penetration) in January, up 8 percent since November. Check the gallery for the charts.
