Amazon has opened up AutoRip to include Vinyl. Customers who have bought records off of Amazon.com can now get a free MP3 version of the Vinyls. The company launched the AutoRip service in January and it already allows customers to get the MP3 version of their CD’s as far back as 1998. At this time AutoRip only has about 50,000 different songs available but is steadily increasing the number of songs in its catalog.
