The WWE announced that’s it’s partnering up with the hip-hop impresario otherwise known as Sean Combs for a series of festivities in honor of Wrestlemania 29.

Diddy will perform a medley of hits for more than 70,000 fans at the big event, which will be simulcast live on pay-per-view. The rapper’s ditty, “Coming Home,” from his most recent album, Last Train to Paris, will also serve as the theme song forWrestlemania 29 and will be woven through the show.

And doing his part to help New Jersey recover from last fall’s devastating hurricane, Diddy will cohost a “Superstars for Sandy Relief” benefit party with WWE honcho Vince McMahon. The fundraiser is set to take place this Thursday at Cipriani Wall Street and will feature New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg as the special guest.

Combs will preside over an online auction in which he’s also giving away a chance to be an intern for a day at his Bad Boy Records label. All money raised will go towards The Mayor’s Fun to Advance New York City and Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.

Last but not least, the hip-hop star has signed on to serve as an ambassador for Be a STAR, the WWE’s anti-bullying initiative.

“I’ve always been a fan of WWE and I’m excited to support these two important causes, Superstars for Sandy Relief and the Be a STAR anti-bullying initiative,” said Combs.
