This story doesn’t look like it is going to die anytime soon. After Lebron made some complaints about fouls against him during the Heat loss to the Chicago Bulls, many people chimed in with their opinion. Some players have spoken on it, fans, and even Celtics GM Danny Ainge. I am really hoping at some point during the playoffs the Celtics and Heat will face off. It would be a very intense series. According to the Miami Herald:
I don’t think either one of those were flagrants, and I think the one — LeBron against Boozer — was flagrant, yes. I think the officials had it right…,” Ainge said during a weekly radio-show appearance in Boston. “I think that it’s almost embarrassing that LeBron would complain about officiating.”
I actually disagree with Ainge as far as the foul Lebron was called for. I did not think that was a flagrant when bron put his shoulder into the chest of Carlos Boozer. Lebron responded to Ainge saying “Nothing that comes out of Boston surprises me. I stated what I felt and left it at that. I haven’t even went on about it at all. I know everything that I say is going to be either blown out of proportion or taken the wrong way. But I had to say what I had to say and I move on.” He was also referring to comments made by Jason Terry & Paul Pierce recently. I am sure the comments are far from done.
