A member of the Navy Seal Team 6, which brought down Bin Laden, had died after a tragic parachute accident. Another SEAL was injured during the parachute training yesterday morning. Both members were taking part in “routine military free-fall training” in Tuscon when the accidents occurred. The names of both men have not been released. More details below.
U.S. Special Operations Command spokesman Kenneth McGraw said the accidents occurred at 12:30 p.m. MST Thursday. The SEAL member that passed away was an E-8-Senior Chief. The E-6 Petty Officer First Class SEAL is listed in stable condition.
