T-Mobile announced today that it will now carry iPhone 5. Customers can now pre-register for the upcoming April 12th release. T-Mobile will be selling the iPhone starting at $99 up front, no 2 year contract agreement, followed by 20 months of $20 payments on top of monthly pre-paid data plans. Customers can also purchase the iPhone at full price.
As we reported previously , the wireless carrier did away with contract, as well as making it easier for customers to transfer their phone to T-Mobile, this is all in the company’s plans to be more competitive with other wireless carriers.
