This is such a great gesture and I can’t see the Lakers taking the team photo any other way. It was only right. The Lakers took their 2012-13 team photo yesterday and one seat was left empty. In case you aren’t seeing the obvious, find out why along with the photo after the jump….

In honor of the late Dr. Jerry Buss, the Lakers left an empty seat between Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol. Buss died Feb. 18 from an undisclosed form of cancer.
