Wide receiver Donte Stallworth was injured after suffering from a hot-air balloon accident this morning in Miami. Read more after the jump.
Stallworth was reportedly going hot-air ballooning with his girlfriend when it hit power lines causing them both to be shocked and burned. They were transported to the Trauma Center at Kendall Regional Hospital, Stallworth reportedly sustained “severe burns” according to his lawyer. He’s currently listed in stable condition.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Stallworth did not suffer serious injuries that would prevent him from resuming his career.
Stallworth is currently a free agent who last played for the New England Patriots in one game catching one pass for a 63-yard touchdown before going on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
