Usually the only time athletes get to hang out with the President or First Lady is when their team wins the championship and gets invited to the White House for a meet and greet. But anything that involves doing good things for kids always seems to bring people together. Earlier today, Michelle Obama was hanging out with Eli Manning at the Partnership for a Healthier America Annual Summit. Read more about it after the jump.

First Lady Michelle Obama took the stage to thank Reebok for their past and future commitment to youth fitness as Reebok announced a $30 million dollar, three year pledge to support fitness program across the United States. Reebok’s non-profit, BOKS (Build Our Kids’ Success), a before school fitness program, was also up on stage and was represented by its ambassador Eli Manning as $2 million of this money per year will go directly to expanding the program, which is already in 200 schools, to over 1,000 nationwide. A story like this won’t get the same press and attention as something filled with gossip and drama, but it should.
