Two people were stabbed during an altercation outside the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City after Tuesday night’s game between the Lakers and Thunder, multiple outlets are reporting.
According to the reports, police said that shortly after the Thunder’s 122-105 win over Los Angeles, a passerby intervened in an argument between a man and a woman in an attempt to protect the woman. Police say that the men began fighting and in that fight, the men stabbed one another.
FOX 25 in Oklahoma City is reporting that the passerby was taken to an area hospital and is in critical condition, while the other man was taken into police custody with non-life-threatening injuries. According to the reports, police are still investigating the incident and are uncertain as to who was the aggressor in the fight.
The reports said that police believe the man fighting with his girlfriend works for a cleaning company that services the arena after events.
