Waka Flocka affiliate Slim Dunkin was tragically shot and killed back in December 2011, after a fight at an Atlanta studio escalated to violence. Another rapper, Young Vito, was quickly named as the culprit. After being on the run for a few days, he turned himself in just after Christmas. He remained behind bars without bond until the trial that just finished, and he was found not guilty on the murder charge. He did, however, get 25 years in relation to the incident. Details below.
Though he didn’t get charged with murder, Vito was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a handgun. “I just think he’s prone to carry a gun, and he’s violent and dangerous,” the judge on the case said.
