A jail turned luxury hotel, Het Arresthuis, located in the Netherlands, has bars on the windows and on the inside has a full bar for it’s guests.

The chefs wear old time jailhouse aprons and hats to add to the atmosphere. At this luxury hotel, the yard has a totally different feel than your typical jail and when you aren’t doing time outside you can enjoy the comfort of being inside your hotel room which feels nothing like being shanked inside of a cell.
