Otis Damon Harris, a former temptation died at 62 after a 14 year long battle with prostate cancer. Harris began his musical career in a group called the Young Tempts, who were forced to change their name to the Young Vandals after a Motown injunction. Harris eventually worked his way onto the actual Temptations replacing lead tenor Eddie Kendricks. Harris was with the Temptations from 1971-75, a strong period for Motown Group despite high overturn.
