Jessica Bennett speaks out about her adopted son Jonah being slapped on a plane. Bennett, scared to death by the incident, describes the crazy assault on her baby boy in full detail. More after the jump.
Whoa!!! Can you imagine the man in the picture slapping your baby??? Joe Hundley, 60, was charged with assault for slapping 19-month old Jonah on a plane and possibly faces a year of jail time. The mother, Jessica Bennett, gives her take on what took place that day on the flight to Atlanta. With her husband at her side for support, she says the open-handed slap from Hundley caused her son to draw blood near his eye!!! After the incident, her son is now apprehensive around strangers.
Bennett also states, Hundley “reeked of alcohol,” was “stumbling around wasted” and drank multiple double vodkas during the flight.
Hundley plans to plead not guilty to the assault charge, his lawyer said.
The FBI is conducting further investigation of the incident.
Damn. Blame it on the alcohol.
