“Yo Mama” jokes, just got real! A mother in Albany, NY must’ve confused a Black History Month assembly for “Career Day” as she took to the school’s stage and tried to put in “work.” Read the crazy details after the jump.
Embarrassing!!! Kids attending a school assembly for black history got the show of their lives when they witnessed, 24-year-old Aydrea Meaders, take the stage to strip down and dance.
The fiasco took place at North Albany Academy, a prekindergarten through eighth grade school in the Albany district.
On Friday morning, Meaders dance forced school officials to quickly clear the cafeteria full of children as she was escorted off the stage.
The story doesn’t even end there! Police arrested Meaders at 10:30am is charged with seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of public lewdness.
An Albany City Court clerk says Meaders was arraigned Friday afternoon and held on $3,000 bail.
No one at the school noticed anything odd about Meaders before the strip show. She held conversations with teachers and the principal at the school, so when she got on stage no one thought to stop her. Her stunt caught everyone off guard.
“It had been going as a terrific event; the cafeteria was full,” said Albany School District Spokesman Ron Lesko. “We probably had about 200 students in there from throughout the school.”
