The cheaper iPhone is currently in the works, new rumors are suggesting the smartphone should be hitting store shelves sometime in June. “confident that a lower-priced iPhone will be launched by Apple in 2013, possibly as early as June.” According to an analyst the device will be call the iPhone mini or the iPhone air, (None of these names sound appealing) but the current price points in the works is $250 to $300 price point which will be the cost of the unlocked version. A lot of Analysts believe that by Apple having a new cheaper smartphone will hurt their margins and hurt the brand overall but with mobile markers like Samsung gaining ground Apple does’nt have much of an option at this point.
