If the rumors floating are true, then Google may make a Chromebook that really competes with Apple’s Macbook’s & Microsoft’s Windows 8 notebooks. A recent video was leaked that shows off the “Chromebook Pixel” & it’s crazy. Watch the video & get all the details after the jump.
So far from what we tell from the video, this will no doubt be the best Chromebook to come out yet. It looks like Google is trying to get over the “cheap” feel of the current line & go for something that’s a bit more premium. For starters, the Chromebook Pixel is supposed to have a touchscreen display, with 2560 x 1700 resolution. And looking at the video, it looks well made, possibly out of aluminum. And those lights on the back of it apparently spell out the battery life of the product.
Right now, it’s supposed to be slated for announcement at Google I/O in May, along with the also rumored “X-Phone”. We’ll keep you posted as more information comes out.
