Police and firefighters were chased away by an angry mob in the highlands of Papua New Guinea for trying to save a woman from being burned alive. Video of the story, after the jump.
Kepari Leniata, a young woman accused of being a witch, admitted using sorcery to kill a 6 year old boy, who died after being [hospitalized] with stomach and chest pains on Tuesday. Surrounded by a large mob of villagers, Leniata was stripped naked doused in gasoline and, with hands and feet bound, thrown into a huge pile of garbage. As the-mother-of-two yelled in agony more gasoline and tires were tossed on top of her.
