This was inevitable with the advent of email and paperless billing, but it’s still pretty crazy nonetheless! The U.S. Postal Service has announced that they will stop delivering mail on Saturdays beginning this August! However, packages will still be delivered that day, as package delivery has increased by 14 percent since 2010. This should help them save about $2 million annually. More below.
The other good news is that the post office will still be open on Saturdays, so you can still go there and get your mail for that day…as mail would still be delivered to post office boxes on Saturdays.
