Ricki Lake, now 44, wasn’t expecting this. Her comeback to the talk show scene was short lived after being canceled after only one season. Looks like Ricki couldn’t find an audience because she only had a little over 900,000 viewers tune in on average. Here’s Ricki’s statement: “I am so proud of the shows we completed this season, sparking important conversations about everything from raising children to mental illness to suicide prevention to coming out,” Lake said in a statement. “I will continue to be an active and passionate voice for subjects that are close to my heart through a variety of platforms.”
