If this is true, this is pretty foul. The story seems to be gaining momentum leading up to the Super Bowl. Courtney Lenz has been a cheerleader for the Ravens for 5 years now. She recently announced she would be retiring, with the expectation the Super Bowl would be her last game. But things are not working out as expected, and Ravens fans are in an uproar about it. To this point, the Ravens are blocking her from cheering one last time. Lenz told ABC news “I wouldn’t even have reached out and let fans know if I didn’t think it was clearly wrong. I didn’t even think there would be a chance of me not going with being a five-year veteran”. An online petition has been started by fans, as well as a facebook page called “Get Courtney to the Super Bowl”. Turns out not too long ago, Lenz was blocked from cheering in one game because she gained just 2 pounds! That is crazy!! I hope this turns out for the best and they do the right thing and let her cheer in the Super Bowl. Otherwise you are setting a bad example for young girls who will think gaining 2 pounds is the end of the world. Check the gallery for pics of Courtney.
