Today is the 12th annual No Pants Subway Ride. At about 3p.m. train riders will be gathering at certain spots to hop on the subway,silently take their pants off and put them in their backpack, and go for a ride. Thousands of people are expected to be partaking in the festivities, last year total of 4,000 people took part in the ride. The no pants ride started as a prank by seven people and 12 years later, it’s still going! Ironically, the pant-less riders are encouraged to wear winter gear such as hats, coats, etc. We will be updating this post all day with pictures from the event, so stay tuned!
