Gronkowski re-injured his forearm during the first quarter and it was reported that he would not return for the rest of the game.  Now it’s reported that he won’t return for the rest of the playoffs as it turns out he will need surgery according to a league source.

He injured the arm again while falling to the ground, trying to make a catch.  The original injury occurred on November 18.  He returned in Week 17, catching two passes for 42 yards against the Dolphins.

Though the Patriots are doing well against the Texans and will likely continue on, losing Gronkowski is a huge blow to the team.
