Yesterday proved why everyone absolutely LOVES the divisional round of the playoffs.  The first quarter of the Ravens v. Broncos game was better than all the games of last week.  The Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 48ers punched their cards into the AFC and NFC championship games (respectively).  Today they’ll find out who their opponents are.  Read more after the jump.

First up is the Seattle Seahawks as they take on the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome.  The Falcons will be looking to break the stigma of their playoff losses curse and win today.  The Seahawks will be led by rookie quarterback Russell Wilson who’s continuing his quest to prove everyone wrong that passed on him.  In their last meeting the Falcons defeated the Seahawks 30-28 and I’m looking forward to another close game.

Game Date/Time: Sunday, Jan. 13, 1 p.m. ET
Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
TV Schedule: FOX
NFL odds: Falcons -2.5
NFL picks: Seahawks, 24-20

Following that game the Houston Texans pay a visit to the New England Patriots in Foxborough.  The Texans once “elite” defense has faltered down the stretch and they’ll need every bit of it to contain Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.  In their last meeting the Patriots blew out the Texans 42-14 and I’m sure we’re all hoping for a much closer result.

Game Date/Time: Sunday, Jan. 13, 4:30 p.m. ET
Location: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA
TV Schedule: CBS
NFL odds: Patriots -9.5
NFL picks: Patriots, 35-20
